Duct Insulation

If you need to stop heat from escaping or stop condensation from cold water insulating pipe work will reduce your carbon foot print and save you money.

Duct Insulation

Duct Insulation

Duct Insulation

Insulating duct work will not only keep cool air cool and warm air warm it will also dampen the sound of the air flowing through the duct.

Metal cladding

Duct Insulation

Metal cladding

Metal cladding can be applied to both pipe work and duct work, internally and externally. Internally it can protect the insulation from damage or give it a more pleasing look on the eye. Externally it will act as protection from weather damage.

Pro Clad

Isogenopak

Metal cladding

Pro Clad is a multi-layered laminate jacketing system, which provides a weatherproof cladding system to insulated duct and pipe systems. Coming in a variety of different colours it is often used as an alternative to metal cladding.

P.I.B

Isogenopak

Isogenopak

Polyisobutane, or P.I.B for short, is an external waterproofing membrane that covers and prevents water ingress and the erosion of the insulation. Primarily used on pipe work it can also be used on ductwork.

Isogenopak

Isogenopak

Isogenopak is a lightweight, rigid film that is waterproof and easy to maintain. It is an internal protective covering to insulation. Coming in a variety of colours some people find it to be an alternative to metal cladding in places such as schools and hospitals as it has no sharp edges.

    90mm thick fire rated insulation

We were tasked with applying a 90mm thick fire rated insulation to a smoke extract duct. we had to get this right first time as it has to conform to fire regulations. With it being in a major new hotel and residential block there would be many lives at stake if done incorrectly.

Plant room metal cladded with valve jackets

This is just part of a heating plant room that we insulated. We covered the insulation with an aluminium cladding and then finished it off by covering the valves with jackets that are made to measure and can come in a variety of different colours.

Phenolic slotted board covered with white pro clad

This is an example of phenolic board over spiral duct work. Phenolic is usually a rigid board but recently it has started to be made with grooves in it so that it can bend round spiral duct work, this was then covered with a white pro clad. With it being a high end office block, in the heart of London, this was done to make it more attractive to the eye
